| The Quakertown Police Department has established a 24-hour anonymous Crime Tip Hotline which allows citizens to provide anonymous information regarding criminal activity in their community. The number is 267-371-5094 |
| Assistance through a Family Savings Account, FSA |
| Residents that meet income guidelines, 59,500 for a family of 4, may apply for this Federal program through the Bucks County Opportunity Council. |
| How the FSA Program Works |
| A commitment of at least $10 per week for three years is needed. If the goal is met, the Federal program will match their savings to purchase qualified items. Call Joanne Dooley at 215-781-2661, ext. 201 for more information. |
| Utility Information |
| The Borough provides water, sewer, and electric service. All customers must sign for the service. Residents who own their home can qualify for our Budget Plan. Call 536-5001 for more information. |
| Bill Payment |
| Bills can be mailed, paid in Borough Hall or at our drive through area, or by using the Fast Pay option at QNB. Call customer service at QNB for more information, 215-538-5600. |
| Water Meter Readings |
| The water meter is read one month and estimated the next. For more consistent readings, customers may call 215-536-5001 or email utilitybilling@quakertownboro.com with their reading. Call 215-536-5001 for more information. |
| Main Street Skate Park |
| Borough Council voted to change the policy for the Main Street skate park. The park will be open at no charge. Skating is at your own risk according to the rules that are posted. |
| ReadyNotifyPA |
| The Borough is participatingin this program to notify residents of emergency or important situations via text message to a cell phone or email.There is no fee for this service unless the wireless carrier charges for text messages. |

| Pool Rentals |
| As long as staff is available, the Quakertown Pool can be rented in the evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The policy and applications are available at the pool or at Borough Hall. |
| Bagged Leaves |
| Leaves in non Borough bags will be taken at any time. Call Borough Hall to schedule collection. |
| Pool Season Passes |
| Info about passes can be found in the application on the park and rec page of this website. Passes must be obtained at Borough Hall. The pool does not have the equipment to generate passes. |
| Energy Audit |

| Electric Usage Meters |
| The Borough wants to help customers to lower their electric bills and we have acquired several usage meters that measure the use of electricity by appliances. |
| Borrowing Electric Usage Meters |
| The meters are easy to use and Borough homeowners can borrow one for eight days with a deposit of $25. They are available at the reception desk inside the front door of Borough Hall. |
| Trash Fees |
| The fee for a toter for the coming year will be $19.43 per month billed quarterly in advance. The first bill will be prorated to go through December 31st. Bag price increases to $4.00 per bag - 4 bags for $16. |
| Senior Citizen 62 + Trash Discount |
| Senior fee is $16.52 per month for a toter with proof of age. A 35 gallon toter is available; however, the price is the same. Seniors who provide proof of age will receive the credit for this quarter, along wtih the discount on the next bill. |
| Leaf Collection |
| Curbside leaf collection has ended, but leaves bagged in non-Borough bags will be collected year round. Call the Borough to schedule collection of bagged leaves. |
| Trash Collection |
| The Borough has a contract with Ches-Mont Disposal to pick up the trash in the Borough. All dwellings with less than 4 units must use Ches-Mont for trash. |
| Trash Collection Procedure |
| Residents can contract with Ches-Mont for a 96 gallon toter at $19.43 per month, paid quarterly in advance. The rate is $16.52 per month for Sr. Citizens) Call 1-866-871-9953 for information or to start service. |
| Recycling |
| Recycling of glass, aluminum cans and newspapers is mandatory; but residents may also place out paper, metal cans, junk maill, magazines, and cardboard (no foil lining). Info is available at Borough Hall or by calling 1-866-871-9953. |
| Ice Skating Pond |
| Weather permitting, the ice skating pond and shelter are open. When the green flag flies the shelter is open from 3:30 to 10 and it is safe to skate. A red flag means that no one is allowed on the ice. |
