| The Borough of Quakertown is governed by a CouncilManager form of government. The council consists of seven elected members who serve four-year terms. A Borough Manager, appointed by the Borough Council, runs the day-to-day operations of the Borough. Services provided by the Borough include police and fire protection, street maintenance, water, sewer, electricity, and recreation facilities including a swimming pool. |

The Borough Council's regular meeting is usually held on the first Wednesday of each month. Council work session is normally the fourth Monday of the month. To confirm a date, please call the Manager's Office at 215-536-5001.Council Chambers are handicapped accessible. Arrangements can be made by calling the Borough Manager's Office. |
